Garden Tour

Oxford is full of gardens and parks such as the vast expanse of Christ Church Meadow, the delightful University Parks and the unique Botanic Garden, as well as many hidden college gardens. Enjoy their varied beauty in all seasons from stunning carpets of spring bulbs, through magnificent summer herbaceous borders to glorious autumn leaves.

Terms

  • Arrival

    We suggest you arrive at the meeting point outside the Visitor Information Centre at 15-16 Broad Street 10 minutes before the start of your tour. Please book for a later time if you may be delayed as we are unable to contact the guide once the tour has departed.

  • Your booking

    The booking will be registered under the cardholder's name.
    Your booking is made for a specific date and time. It is not transferable nor refundable

  • Children

    Children must be accompanied by an adult (maximum 3 children per adult).
    Please note that pushchairs may not be admitted to a college and may have to be left outside at your own risk.

  • Access to colleges

    Wheelchair users are welcome on all tours. As access to some colleges may be restricted, please let us know when you book your ticket so the tour can be made wheelchair accessible.

    Guide dogs are allowed on the tours.

    When visiting the colleges please follow your guide's advice as the group must
    adhere to the college's visitor policy.

    In exceptional circumstances access to a college might not be possible. However, your guide is trained to give you an enjoyable and informative tour, whatever the access arrangements.

  • Liability

    Visit Oxfordshire and the Oxford Guild of Guides do not accept liability for any damage or loss from any cause whatsoever in connection with this tour.

  • Tour feedback

  • 10% DISCOUNT

    You are entitled to 10% discount at the Visitor Information Centre when presenting your ticket for an Official Guided Walking Tour, on the day that your tour takes place. The 10% discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and it is not applicable to ticket purchases, stamps or accommodation bookings.
