The Oxford University Museum of Natural History houses Oxford University's extensive collections of entomological, geological, mineralogical and zoological material of international importance. Current displays include the remains of Alice's dodo bird and a working observation beehive in a splendid Victorian-Gothic building.
All groups need to make a booking, with at least 48 hours notice.

Pitt Rivers Museum is still open and will continue to be open throughout 2013. The main entrance via the Museum of Natural History will remain open and a route around the construction work will take visitors into the Pitt Rivers Museum.
